Question: Hi,

I feel so silly asking this question but I am so worried. I made an awful mistake and gave my ex a hand job. There was no sexual intercourse at all. I am sure I wiped my hand. By the time I had driven home it was about 30 minutes at least and then I went to get ready for bed.i can't remember if I washed my hands before I went to the toilet and so concerned I would have touched my Virgina and there would be so seaman on my fingers.

The messed up bit is that my husband I am have been trying for a baby and then I do this stupid thing. I found out I was pregnant last Monday. My last period was the 21st or 22nd dec. now so scared that he is not the father due to such a silly thing.

Brief Answer:
Don't worry.

Detailed Answer:
HI,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
The sperms die as soon as semen dries up. The life span of sperms depends on where they are located.
On hands clothes etc they die as soon as the semen dries up (within few minutes). I don't see any reason for concern. The sperms if any on your hand would have died long before you reaching home. In these 30. years of practise I have not seen any woman getting pregnant in this way. So don't worry.

I hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama
