Brief Answer:
Do not be concerned...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

As I understand safe sex means protected intercourse. If I am wrong please correct me.

In all probabilities, I do not consider pregnancy even remotely possible based on what you described. 6 days before her expected period will fall in her 'unfertile period'. That should not lead to pregnancy. I also assume her cycles to be quite regular in the past.
Moreover none of her new symptoms indicate pregnancy.

I understand you are worried as she has no prementrual symptoms. But I will not be concerned. Sometimes menstrual cycle do get delayed due to number of reasons. I will suggest her to drink plenty of fluids, eat nutritious diet, sleep well and stay away from stressors. Period are likely to resume in a week or fortnight.
If she is overly concerned, she can get an urine pregnancy test done a week from now. A negative home pregnancy test should rest her / your nerves.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Pregnancy symptoms develop only after 2-3 weeks of conception..

Detailed Answer:
That doesn't affect pregnancy chances. She is less likely to be fertile on those days. Therefore you need not concerned.

For the records, pregnancy symptoms start only after 2-3 weeks of conception. Symptoms are better appreciated after missed period. This is only for your information and I strongly stick to my reply "pregnancy chance is almost nil in this case."

Hope your questions are answered.
