Is Pregnancy Possible When Having A Follicle Size Of 9.5 Mm?

Question: Hi, I am 33 years old trying to conceive for 2 nd baby since 1 year....taken 2 cycles of Siphene 100 but didn't conceived...both the cycles there were single large follicles of 20 mm... However in 3 rd cycle on CD 10 largest follicle was only 9.5 mm on CD 13 also it was of same size...so doc didn't gave any hcg shot n asked to try naturally...is there any chance of fertilization with such a small follicle...also there is a cyst in left ovary which as per doc has already ruptured....through with my hcg n test is clear have a perfect cycle of 28 days
Brief Answer:
Small follicle
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns about infertility.
First 2 cycles the growth of follicle was good. But third time I don't see good growth. It is difficult to say why there was no good growth of follicle in third time.
I don't see fertilization chances in such a small follicle.
Hope you get better size follicle next time.
Let me know if you need anymore help.
Regards

On Cd4 only doctor told there is a cyst in left ovary...which has been haemophragged as per the doc by CD 11 but still follicle in right ovary didn't increase in size....can this be because of cyst....
Also I have cycles of 28 days...all blood test n scans r normal.no pcods ntubes also clear as per hsg...so is there a possibility that there were earlier cycles too wherein follicle was small hence conception didn't happened

Brief Answer:
Cyst is the reason
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You are right.
Ovarian cyst is the most likely reason for non growth of follicle.
Ovarian cyst increases estradiol hormone levels in blood and inturn leads to reduced growth of follicles.
Therefore this is the reason for non growth.
This may not repeat.
