Is Pregnancy Possible While On Meprate Tablets?

Question: Hi, I'm XXXXXXX
My last lmp was 22.april.2016,
I have pcod and irregular periods,
Doctor suggested of take meprate 10mg for 5 days on my 20dpo But I have taken on 27dpo. Is there any possibility for pregnancy. Today is 31 dpo, tablet is over by today.

Thanks for the query to hcm,
If you have already taken the meprate for 5 days now then you should get a withdrawal bleed in next 5-7 days and if you get the bleed that shall indirectly confirm that you are not pregnant at all.
Also if you are anxious and you have been sexually active during the cycle and if pregnancy is suspected then you may get a serum beta hcg test done as on today and if the hcg levels are less than 5ng/dl then you are not pregnant at all.
If the test is positive then, you would be pregnant and even though you have taken meprate for withdrawal bleed , it would not affect the foetus in any negative or harmful way.

Hello.
Meprate doesnt cause pregnancy as its progesterone pill.If you have been pregnant before intake of meprate then it would support pregnancy.
If you are not pregnant then meprate can help you get a withdrawal bleed.
So,meprate per se cannot cause pregnancy.
