If you have changed the patch every week then the level of hormones in your body is enough to prevent ovulation and as a result to prevent pregnancy.
You have nothing to worry ,this is a very effective method to prevent pregnancy.It means that you don't need any other birth control method like pulling out method or others.If you use the patch in the correct form,as directed by your doctor (change it once a week ,the same day and in the fourth week a placebo patch ).
