Is Pregnancy Possible Without An Intercourse?
Question: Hello I am 6 days late from my period, I didn't have sex, I am a virgin, I had intimate moment without ejaculation! Is it possible to be pregnant?
No it is not possible to be pregnant. To get pregnant, there needs to be semen that is inside or on the outside of the vagina. The semen has to have ability to swim inside the vagina to meet the egg. So there is no chance of pregnancy. Most likely, you didn't actually ovulate this cycle, which makes periods irregular in timing and flow. It is not uncommon in young women to miss an ovulation.

But how come I am having period symptoms, my breasts are swollen, my back is hurting etc. pre-ejaculation on outside of vagina could actually meet the egg? Because I think that his penis touched my vagina but without ejaculating. I want to remove this idea from my head as I feel it is stressing me out more! Thank you.

Hello -
If your cycle is off (from not actually ovulating), you can get these various symptoms because your hormones may be rising and falling without the usual regulation.
If you had conceived 6 days ago (hypothetically speaking, as I do not think that is the case) then at 6 days, there wouldn't be pregnancy symptoms that one gets in early pregnancy (but not that early).
It is generally accepted that pre-ejaculatory fluid does not contain living or viable sperm, so it cannot cause pregnancy. Sometimes a some living sperm can get into that fluid, but there would be so few that pregnancy would be extremely unlikely.
I can understand your stress though, although I do not think it is possible for you too be pregnant from the scenario you described. If it would make you feel relieved, at 7 days after the missed period, a home pregnancy test is quite accurate. So you can take a test to put it out of your mind (that is if your period hasn't come by then, as it sounds as though it might soon).
Does that answer your question?

Yes almost! Now I feel that it is very unlikely that I am pregnant! So now this month I might not even get my period? Should I go see a doctor or it is normal and ok to have one super late period?

Information
Detailed Answer:
You may get your period this month yet. In an average 28 day cycle (where the 1st day of the menses/period is called day 1), ovulation happens around day 14 or approximately 2 weeks after the 1st day of the menses and 2 weeks before the expected period. In younger women (teens, early twenties) it is very common to miss an ovulation. Stress, both physical and emotional stress, can cause this as can being too thin.
So let's say ovulation doesn't actually happen mid cycle, the usual sequence of hormonal events that leads to your regular period doesn't happen. Instead, the hormones can continue to fluctuate as the body tries to ovulate or the hormones drop and there is a period. But since the regular sequence of hormonal rise and fall isn't happening, the period will not be typical.
So in an anovulatory cycle (one where ovulation doesn't happen), the period can come earlier or later or be skipped. When it the period comes, it may be lighter or heavier, and be shorter or longer than usual. And there can be spotting (intermittent light bleeding). Eventually the hormones reset, and you return to regular cycles.
A missed period for 1 or 2 months is ok. When there is no period for 3 months, then it is time to see your doctor. Usually, if periods used to be regular, the doctor will give a short course (such as a week) of a progesterone like hormone like Provera. After you finish taking it and stop, the period will come. But we are getting ahead of things: most likely you will not need this. Most likely your period will come in a few days or you might skip just this 1 month.
So - it is normal and ok to have 1 super late period.
But it is not normal if you skip 3 months in a row.

Perfect! Thank you very muchfor explaining all this to me.
Sorry to repeat but one last last question for my peace of mind: the probability of getting pregnant because of dry-humping without clothes without ejaculation and without penetration on the predicted ovulation date is very very low and I should not worry about my late period?
Thank you again!
