Question: Is it quite safe to have protected sex 6 days after eating 2x100 mg Doxycycline per day, given the results below?
- 10^5 CFU/mL Ureaplasma urealyticum isolated
- 10^4 CFU/mL Mycoplasma hominis isolated
- (Chlamydia / Gonorrhoeae negative)

It is quite safe to have a protected sex in presence of a Non-gonococcal genital infection. It will not harm to you and your partner in any way.
Anyhow you have to complete the course of Doxycyclin as prescribed and to have an urine examination before going for an unprotected exposure.
