Question : Dear Doctor, One of friend has received a marriage proposal from a psoriasis patient. Is this disease communicable and does it cause skin cancer or any other skin disorder? Please suggest if she can go ahead with the proposal or not?
Brief Answer:
It is not communicable or cancerous
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Psoriasis is not communicable and also there is no chance of cancer in this.
It keeps relapsing and remitting through out life that means the person will keep having new patches on skin throughout life.
It is not communicable but is also not totally curable.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
