Question: Is psoriasis curable? what are some good ways to treat this condition? Please suggest diets if required.

Brief Answer: Details below Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXXXX Thanks for the query. Psoriasis is not totally curable, however it can be controlled. Treatment depends on the area of body involved. If area of involvement is less than 20 % topical steroids and immunomodulators can be used. If area of involvement is more than 20 % oral medications are used. The mainstay of treatment is steroid creams. Regarding diet, nothing is contraindicated in psoriasis. Although there are diet like fish oil (omega 3 fatty acid rich) which can help in controlling the disease. Let me know if you have any other doubts. Thank you
