Is Reducing The Dosage Of Telma Safe Despite Having A Normal BP Reading?
Question: I used to weigh 81 kgs & had raised Blood pressure. I was taking Tab Telma 40 HS & Tab Stamlo2mg OD. In five months through dieting & exercises, I have reduced my weight to 75 kgs. My BP is 120/80 now. Can I reduce my dosageof Tab Telma to 20mg & discontinue Tab Stamlo.

I saw the message. you have to monitor the BP regularly twice daily atleast for 1month.
With one reading you can't stop the medications or reduce the dose.
Your BP readings are normal because of medications.
Be on low salt diet...monitor your BP regularly.
