Brief Answer:
Detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for sharing your health concerns with us.

I have gone through your query and also the attached report. I would like to offer some information.

A positive IgG does not mean a recent infection. It suggests that the infection occurred somewhere in the past. A positive IgM indicates recent infection. Also, a single record is not enough for the diagnosis.

Hence, in the current scenario, there is no evidence of an acute infection requiring treatment. Please discuss this with your doctor.

The antibiotic prescribed is categorized under Category C by FDA which means the safety in pregnancy is not established. Hence, it is better avoided unless absolutely necessary and that too, during the first trimester.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Shanti.V
