Question: Dear sir/madam,
I have some sex problems. It is I don't like to do sex. some times i have sex one or two times per month. so my wife is not satisfied about that. My age 30 yrs. so for that problems I had consulted a doctor and they did some blood test and some scan also.
in the Blood report it shows less S.TESTESTERONE it is 209 ng/dl (Normal range is 241-827 (M) ng/dl. It is done by fully automated system.
And PENILE DOPPLER scan shows Significantly reduced flow velocity, spectral wave pattern seen in both carvarnosal arteries and dorsal penile artery. Penile arterial significant flow compromise noted. And SCROTUM scan report shows both testes are smaller in size, normal in shape position & echotexture.
So please is there any ways to solve this problems.
Thanks Doctor.

Brief Answer:
testosterone supplement with tetrafol plus will help

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. I have checked your all reports and I can understand your concern.

Your low desire for sex is likely due to low testosterone level. In that case supplement of external testosterone will be helpful in form of tablet or injection. You need to consult doctor for prescription.

After testosterone supplement chances are there that penis arterial blood flow can also increase.

Apart from that I also recommend to take medicine cum vitamin supplement containing pyridoxal-5-phosphate, mecobalamin and l-methylfolate (trade name tetrafol plus)is very helpful in my patients. This helps in dilatation of penis vessels and improves blood flow. It has shown improvement in 50-60% patients of mine with erectile dysfunction. You may get this medicine over the counter as it is vitamin product. You should take it twice a day after meal for 2 months.

At last by chance above measures cannot help 5- PDE inhibitor group of medicine can help. This includes sildenafil or tadalafil. One of them should be used 2 hours prior to sex. It improves penis blood flow by dilating penile vessels. They cause headache, stuffy nose nausea and gastric discomfort like common side effects. Proper physical check-up of cardiac system should be done by a doctor before starting the same. These are prescription medicines and you need to consult doctor/psychiatrist/sexologist for the prescription.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.

Dr.Chintan Solanki.

Brief Answer:
I recommend tetrafol plus apart from that prescription

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for follow up.

Your doctor has prescribed appropriate medicines which also include testosterone supplement. In that I could not find exact content of Vitanex. I recommend tetrafol plus in stead of vitanex.

Brief Answer:
Not for lifetime likely

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

For testosterone after 3 month you have to go for retesting. You can stop if it is normal. Sometime due to stress level reduced. However if again problem reappear better to consult endocrinologist and urologist for exact diagnosis of your low testosterone problem.

Good luck.
