Question: hi Dr.. I am 30 years married women and we are trying for baby.. but I have a pcos issue so this time I have consult with 1 alopathy Dr previously I was taking ayurvedic treatment from1.5years... my new alopathy Dr gave me meptate 10mg 3times in a day for 3 days.. my endrometrial linewas 7mm... after finishing the course.. on Tuesday I got only 1spot on Saturday...then from 5thday of finishing medicines I have a seviour pain but no periods... pain is not regular and I feel ichyness in my vagina... actually my Dr is not available bcoz of some emergency issue so plz let me know that should I wait for few more days.

I have gone through the details. Usually, upon stopping, you will have your period within a maximum of 7 days. This is a trial and error method so you need to have patience. As you are on your 5th day I suggest you wait for 2 more days.

Meprate does not cure PCOS, just helps to have normal periods. The mainstay of therapy for PCOS is Metformin and weight loss.
