Is Shortness Of Breath A Side Effect Of Allopurinol?
Question: I AM TAKING ALLOPURINOL 300 MG AND AM EXPERIENCING SHORTNESS OF BREATH OR TRYING TO CATCH MY BREATH OCCASIONALLY. iS THIS A RESULT OF THIS MEDICATION?

Allopurinol on itself does not cause shortness of breath and at age 77 this sign should be thoroughly assessed for any heart or lung abnormality which may be flared by allopurinol.
