Is Slight Bloody Discharge Normal After Taking Femilon?

Question: Hello Doc,
I had written earlier in Sep when I started my 1st pack of Femilon (21days pack). This is 3rd pack am using. I had normal 3 days periods and then spotting. Today morning a light discharge of blood only once. Is it normal?

Thanks once again for writing to us.

You are on pills last 3 months and you have regular menstrual cycle along it.

Instantly you have a light discharge of blood only once, it can be due to the hormonal imbalance cause by pill.

Please keep watch on it, if it repeated in 2-3 cycle, then you need to confer with a gynecologist for the same otherwise there is no need to worry about it. (I am assuming that discharge is not associated with any other symptoms).
