Question: Upper mid section on the left side of my stomach feels sore. occassionally when I move a certain way, a single sharp pain

Diverticula are small pouches created from pressure on weak spots in the colon. But most the times pain is a bit more towards he lower side. However would suggest you to go for USG abdomen.
Possibility 2-As pain is related to particular position of body it could be sprain.
