Is Spinal Cord Compression Fatal?
Question: i had lower back surgey about 8 years dr said my nerve endings were bad because i also had a problem leaking bad before surg. now i have no control 75% of time when i void. i have to wear a pad 24 hrs when i do have urgency to void cant hold at all until make to bathroom. i talking about 3 to 4 pads a day from leaking that i dont know about and at night i have to get up most of the time and change pad but did not know i had to void sounds crazy i know, do i need to go back to my back surg dr he knows all abut the nerve ending that work close to the bladder that i had problems with before i really need help i void out more than i take in help

I have gone through the details and understand your concerns. It seems that the compression on the spinal nerves had already caused considerable damage to the nerves by the time the surgery was done. The problem has worsened over these years and although you can still visit your surgeon, I doubt whether he would be able to help. The damage has already occurred and there is not much that any doctor can do at this point. Sorry for disappointing you but you would need to accept and readapt to the present situation.
