
Is Spo2 Reading Of 90 Normal?

Question: I am at 5000ft above sea level with sp02 reading of 90.. Is that normal?
Heart rate at resting is 65
.

Thanks for the query. generally spo2 at 5000m is considered to be normal if there is more than 90%. It can depend on pulse oximeter which is used and also on other factors such as physical activity,stress, temperature,part of the day,smoking etc.
