Is Successful Pregnancy Possible When Diagnosed With Hypothyroidism?

Question: Dear Sir,
I am 24 year female, suffering from hypothyroidism for past three years and taking thyronorm 100mcg. Yesterday I got pregnancy positive , but i found tsh 42. What shall I do now. Earlier I had a miscarriage tw years back. Can I control my thyroid and have a succeful pregnancy.

Dear XXXXX hi and welcome to HCM.
please continue with your pregnancy, you can have successful pregnancy if you control your thyroid.
Please make your dose 125 mcg from tomorrow and then make it 150 mcg after 7 days. repeat your TSH and FT4 after 4 -6 weks and get back to us.
Again i will insist do not abort, normal pregnancy and delivery is possible, with controlled thyroid.
dose will increase through out pregnancy and you will need frequent monitoring.
