Is Swelling And Blisters On Lips Symptom Of Gluten Intolerance?

Question: I have had a chronic e Coli bladder infection since Nov . My immune system seems to be low and I have suddenly developed mouth allergies. My lips swell with big red blisters that feel like they are burning. I have also developed lots of blotchy rashes over my torso. Thy are not itchy . I took Bactrax. I stopped thinking this had casued the rash. But it han't gone away. My right kidney seems to hurt when I try to get up sometimes when I do yoga. Could this rash be gluten intolderance? I feel like I have alot of brain fog. My eye sight started to get blurry too.

Gluten intolerance has direct association with gluten rich diet like wheat. Also in gluten intolerance the rashes are itchy and there is associated diarrhea. THankyou Dr XXXXXXX I still have my bladder infection I will checking my urine smaple this week again. i think you are correct I haven't been able to download a a photo yet. My lips have gone down but they reacted immediately after I ate some almonds the other day. My blotchy rash is all arounf my torso in small andf larger red blothes. I t sounds like I have got the works. I received a spider bite that took ages to heal 2 months ago in the the garden. Then a few weeks ago I got a bee sting. I reacted to eating an egg roll over 2 months ago. I am trying to work out if my immune system is low. I was taking backrax for the bladder infection. I thought that may have also contributed to my urticaria. Do I start to take some antihistaimines?

Brief Answer: start anti histamine Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for the detailed history. Repeated reactive episodes suggest that your immunity is hyper reactive. Get you IgE immunoglobulin level and blood eosinophil count done. Yes start with anti histamine and try to eliminate provoking factors. Let me know if you have any other doubts. Thank you
