Is Taking Cystone Enough For Treating Kidney Stones?
Brief Answer:
You can continue cystone for three months.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The size of the stone is very small and generally stones of this size does not require any treatment and mostly pass of through the urine.
You can continue cystone tablets and take plenty of water( around 2.5 liters per day) to dissolve the stone. You can take a repeat ultrasound after three months to reassess the size and check whether it is passed or decreased in size.
If you develop any symptoms like pain or blood stained urine, consult a urologist and get evaluated.
Wishing you good health.

Whether Neeri tablet is better than Cystone and should I switch to Neeri tablet from Cystone. Which is more effective. Are there any diet restrictions to be followed. In case of pain what tablet should I use.
Brief Answer:
Cystone will be better.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Cystone is recommended by most of the physician and patient compliance is also better with cystone.
Drink plenty of water , as the fluid intake increased the chances of spontaneous expulsion will be more. You have to avoid foods that are rich in oxalate like red meat, chocolates, nuts and cheese.
You can keep analgesics/antispasmodic combination to use in case of acute pain. “Hyoscimax-MF” is a commonly prescribed brand and it is quite effective also.
Wishing you good health.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
You can limit them for three months.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You can limit the use of tomato, cabbage, as these can cause oxalate accumulation and stones. No need to completely stop them, instead reduce the use of tomato, cabbage, almonds, nuts for three months and do a follow-up scan after three months.

If the stones have passed you can have a normal diet.
Wishing you good health
