Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Dear XXXX
I pill or emergency contraceptives are only effective if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. They loose their efficacy if taken fter that. As she has taken the pill after 7 days, its unlikely to be effective in preventing pregnancy.
The probability of she getting pregnant depends on timing of unprotected sex during the menstrual phase. If it has happened before her expected periods or soon after menses its less likely she will conceive.
If she misses her periods get Urine pregnancy test done.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Take Care
Best Regards
