Brief Answer:
Get your serum calcium levels and lipid profile checked every 6 months.

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and thanks for the query,

Any steroid, when used for a period of more than 2 weeks, has its own side effects. However, while answering this query both pros and cons of therapy are to be considered. Microscopic colitis requires budesonide and 3 mg is a bit low dose. If it's helping you then you can use it.

So I don't think you need to really worry too much about it.
Thanks.
