Question: Hi, I am a man and I recently performed oral sex on a woman for a few minutes! I am now worried if i can catch an STD like HIV? is there a high risk for this?

I am Dr kakkar (Dermatologist and Venereologist). I have noted your concern.
Performing oral sex on a female is not a high risk for transmission of HIV. Saliva contains enzymes inhibitory to the virus. Though there is a risk for transmission of other STDs like herpes simplex virus, throat gonorrhoea & syphilis with oral sex.
