Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

No.

Dylexia is not diagnosed by eye examination. The eye examination can determine if there are any eye issues that may be causing difficulty seeing and therefore understanding work/reading but cannot diagnose dyslexia.
It would be part of the assessment of any difficulties to rule out eye problems as a cause of any issues.

Diagnosis would require a number of different tests looking at reading, speaking, spelling, writing, phonic ,understanding language in general.
This would be done via various questionnaires exploring all of these areas.

The assessment can be done by a psychologist usually- particularly an educational psychologist

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
