Is There A Testosterone Booster That Does Not Increase Sleep Apnea?
Question: Is there a testosterone booster that does NOT increase sleep apnea experiences ??
Brief Answer:
No
Detailed Answer:
Testosterone replacement therapy, regardless of the formulation, has been associated with induction or worsening of sleep apnea.
However, this is considered an uncommon side effect with weak evidence for an association with testosterone treatment.
In fact, severe and untreated obstructive sleep apnea has been known to reversibly lower testosterone levels. Treating the sleep apnea in turn is expected to normalize the testosterone levels in the blood.

My Dr. sees no physical tissue obstruction issue in my airway. I have a mouth guard which pushes the lower jaw forward and offers moderate relief. I have tried natural supplements advertised to help sleep apnea with no success. IS THERE A PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION THAT MIGHT RELIEVE SYMPTOMS ? CPAP masks really keep me awake all night. Any thoughts?
Brief Answer:
Follow up
Detailed Answer:
I am not aware of anything other than CPAP but it is most likely that pulmonologists/ sleep medicine specialists will have other options for you, including possibly other assistive devices to help the apneic episodes
