Brief Answer:
Yes, you should start antihistamine and anti allergic drug.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I can understand your concern.
Yes, this is possible.
You should start combination of anti histamine (levocetrizine or fexofenadine) and anti allergic (montelukast) once a day at night for 2-3 months.
This combination will prevent allergic inflammation and thus prevents allergic symptoms.
Please let me know if you have already taken this combination before.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

No i have never used the combination before. Will this combination make me less sensitive or this will be the effect of the medication and dissapper once stopped the medication.

Also can you consume alcohol moderately (e.g 2 glasses of wine 3 times a week) once you are on these medications?

Brief Answer:
Yes, this combination will definitely help you.

Honestly speaking, there is no permanent cure for allergy.
Allergy is actually body's response.
Your immune system is made in such a way that it is hyperreactive to certain allergens. So when you are exposed to such things, your immune system gives you symptoms.
Immuno therapy is available but it is not that effective. Allergy almost always reappear once yourself stop immuno therapy.
This oral combination is easy and having least side effects.
So start this. We cannot taper it down based on your symptoms.
And better to reduce alcohol to once a week.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
