Brief Answer:
Information.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Trintellix is the brand name for vortioxetine and the drug is still on the patent so there are no generics out there yet.

Trintellix is a new drug for depression (which is why it is still under patent regulations) and as it is so expensive, it's generally used when people have not had success with older antidepressants.

Have you and your doctor tried other antidepressants in the SSRI family (such as escitalopram) and SNRI family?

Sometimes if an SSRI fails, it can be augmented by atypical antipsychotic medications such as Abilify (not used for psychosis but rather to provide additional neurotransmitters to augment the SSRI antidepressant).

So, to answer your question, there are no generics yet for vortioxetine (Trintellix).

Hope I have answered your query.
