Brief Answer: You should not be afraid but you need evaluation. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing to us. Congratulation! As you are suffering from a disease known as a MTHFR c677t heterozygous, the chances of miscarriage are there. In my opinion, you should not be worry and carry your pregnany with some precautions. Here are some suggestions for you- 1) Test your homocystein level. 2) Husband mthfr test whether he is suffering from it or not.(mthfr mutations test) 3) Mother mthfr mutations test. 4) You should be tested for MMA , S-adenocylhomocysteine level. 5) Take appropriate action to ensure safer pregnancy. 6) Continue your pregnancy under supervision of an expert gynaecologist. 7) You should go for your routine blood test and ultrasonography test. Yes, your levels are low but it may improved with hcg injection. So please do not worry. I think I have answered your query If you have further question I will be happy to help you. Good luck. Wish you a happy and safe motherhood. Regards Dr.Richa
