Is There Any Danger When There Is Intermittent Brown Discharge During Pregnancy?
Question: hi.. i had my lmp on 13th may...got my first ultrasound done...it mentions that chorio decidual reaction is irregular....also i have brown discharge since 22nd may on and off...my gynae prescribed duphastontablets and hucog injection weekly...is their any danger to my pregnancy
Brief Answer:
It is very early pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Your LMP was on 13th May. By now you are more than 7 weeks pregnant. The ultrasound scan should have detected a sac in the uterine cavity. The irregular decidual reaction suggests an early pregnancy. The medicine prescribed to you is correct and will help in implantation. Mild brownish discharge can happen until the sac covers the endometrial cavity. You need to have a repeat scan after 10 days to detect the growth of sac.
I hope this answers your query. In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out. Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
Pregnancy is normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
If the sac and fetal cardiac activity has been detected then pregnancy is normal the discharge should subside in 3-5 weeks with rest and medicines. Regular monitoring of fetal growth is needed every four weeks.
