Is There Any Heath Risk In Eating Food After Using Hand Cream?

Question: I used hand cream and then I ate some chips. Usually i use the cream before bed and don't eat food afterwards so it is drying overnight. Is it safe that I ate something right after the cream dried? I assume there should be no problem eating after you put the cream on. I am always worrying about chemicals getting in my system. Because you don't wash the cream off I assume the ingredients are very safe.

When I looked up hand and body lotion ingredients on the computer it said that there are a lot of dangerious chemicals in hand and body lotions. They mention some have cancer causing ingredients. That is why I question about the hand cream. So what you are saying you literally have to ingest a lot of the products for them to be harmful? And, is it true that once the creams dry and absorb in the skin there is very little residue left on the skin and it can't be harmful? What should I do put the creams on my skin before bed time or after I eat in the morning? Can you believe everything you read on the computer? It can really scare a person
Brief Answer:
It is vert safe.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns. However, the concentration of the chemicals in the handcream is extremely low. You will not put yourself at risk whether you apply the cream before or after you eat. The cream will have been fully tested for safety before being put on the market. You would have to ingest a massive amount to be at risk, far more than is in one tube.
I hope this helps.
