Is There Any Medication Or Food That I Shouldn't Take After Rosuvastatin Intake?

Question: My dr has changed some meds for me. I will be taking rosuvastatin 5mg. Is there something that I can NOT take within 2 hours of taking this med?

Hello,

Rosuvastatin can be taken with or without food. You should not take it with antacids (avoid taking antacids at least a couple of hours after the last dose of rosuvastatin and avoid taking rosuvastatin for at least one hour after having taken an antacid). I usually advice my patients to avoid taking two or more drugs at the same time unless they have no other option - for example if a patient takes too many drugs every day.

My doctor has also recommended taking 200mg of CoQ10. Can that be taken at one time or split up during the day?
