Is There Any Ointment To Treat Premature Ejaculation?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
1) Is this some condition related to my age( currently 32.5 yrs )?
2) Can this be cured? If yes, please suggest a treatment.
3) Can some ointment or some similar thing be used to control the same?
I think Paxidep-Cr can be used
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Few days back we have discussed almost everything in detail regarding your sex problem and as I remember the possibilities of all relevant causes ruled out.
As I stated earlier this is treatable condition and there is nothing related to your age.
As the protocol goes on when we are not able to find anything specifically related to ongoing problem we need to treat the condition as primary. I mean to say that we need to think that it does not related to any cause and we need to consider as the cause itself and treat it accordingly.
Regarding treatment there are two first line options.
First if you are sexually active regularly you can go for Paxidep CR 12.5 mg which often required to be taken in the night. I often prefer this medicine as this has limited side effects and maximum effects on the problem. Since it is prescription only medicine you may need to get prescription from local doctor to buy it from pharmacy.
Second option is on need basis. This is quite good when you are having sex less than four times per week. In this you can take the 30 mg of Dapoxetine 2 hour before sex. It will help you to sustain your erection for next 6-8 hours and the dose can be repeated on the next occasion.
I hope this answers you. If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thank you.

As per my sexual activity pattern, I think option 2 would suffice me. I have few questions around option 2
1) Is this medicine safe enough to consume? If not, taking it very occasionally would still create any side effects?
2) Do I need to consume this medicine regularly for a certain period to see any visible results or taking this medicine occasionally would also help?
3) Can I get this medicine over the counter or would need any prescription?
Thanks
Yes, it is safe
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The side effects of Dapoxetine are much less in compare to Paxidep-Cr and I think it can be considered safe. I have used this medicine in 100s of the patients over the last seven years and yet to see any serious side effect with it. Since it is used for as need basis there is no problem if you do not take it even for moths or years.
The intake of medicine even for a day is likely to produce effects. The effect becomes evident after 90-120 minutes of intake.
This is prescription only medication and you will need a prescription. It is always safe to follow the standard practices as it helps.
I hope this helps you further. If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thank you.

In addition to this, I would like to know if there is any permanent cure of this problem as I guess option-2 suggested above is a need based solution. If you could suggest some permanent remedy which is safe enough, it would be great.
Thanks.
Kegel exercise is one option
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You are right in pointing out that Dapoxetine helps the problem in temporary manner and seeking for permanent solution is completely justifiable.
For permanent solution the behavioral techniques have good efficacy provided they are done in right manner. One of such technique is kegel exercise. It is difficult to explain here in detail but you can go to google and search what it means.
Once the right muscle is identified there is need to increase duration of contractions from fraction of seconds to seconds. Proceed gradually and aim to have 10 seconds for each contraction.
The results will be delayed but they will be long lasting.
I hope this helps you further.
Thank you.
