Is There Any Possibility To Ovulate A Week After Menstruation?

Question: Is it possible to Ovulate the week after my period to put me further along in my pregnancy? My LMP was Sept 10th my EDD is XXXXXXX 11th.. It has me a little confused if i could have got pregnant the week before my period or if i just concieved early
Brief Answer:
ovulation occurs 14 days prior to onset of periods
Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to healthcare magic. I am here to help you. Ovulation occurs 14 days prior to onset of menses. So women you have a 28 day cycle will ovulate on day 14 and women who have a 30 day cycle will ovulate on day 16. In all likelihood in your case you would have conceived a week before your period.
All the best.
Take care

Okayso there is no chance that i could have just ovulated early?
Brief Answer:
Could have been implantation bleeding not periods
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
In all likelihood what you experienced was implantation bleeding and not menses and you would have conceived by then. So unlikely that you ovulated early. The most accurate method to determine EDD and gestational age is by first trimester ultrasound by measuring the crl and not by last menstrual date. In your case I assume the EDD you are quoting is by seeing your first trimester ultrasound; so I would say this is more accurate than by calculating from your LMP.

Yes my first US stated my due date is XXXXXXX 11th...so can you tell me when i should have concieved with that due date?
Brief Answer:
Around the 18 September
Detailed Answer:
I think I had miscalculated the dates. As per your EDD, you most likely conceived around 18th September. So you most likely conceived a week after period.
