Is There Any Possibility With Out Dialysis Creatinine Level To Lower?

Question: My father is aCKD patient, my father creatinine level now 6.45.i got appointed with nephrology doctor. He prescribed medication. and continues. now doctor suggest me be ready for dialysis. my querie is there any possibility for my father with out dialysis can be recover or can be under medication. plz suggest

Creatinine of 6.45 could be due to combined effect of uncontrolled sugar and some medicine side effect. You need to keep a watch. You may check with a naturopathy doctor about it.

If dialysis assigned, then mostly it is needed.
Maybe transplant could be an option but new kidney may get affected too.

This is a controversial topic whether a CKD patient should drink more or less water. General consensus is that it maybe driven by thirst and less water is better for them. Some studies also suggest that drinking more water will slow down the worsening of CKD disease.
I think if the patient's body parts are not swollen, then he can drink more water, otherwise he needs to take less water.

Sometimes women may miss their periods once in a while. If it is not pregnancy, then it could be stress. In such one time issue, she may try to do some running and eat papaya and period will happen. Otherwise a course of regesterone under gynecologist's guidance can help in having a withdrawal bleed.

It could be due to infections

Hi again,

Fever in CKD could be due to inflammation or infection. Sometimes inflammation or infection could be in an organ like kidney, intestine or lungs.
You can help by:
- giving appropriate antibiotics (safe for kidneys) when needed to the patient
- avoid source of infection. Infections like flu and common cold travel through air. Taking precautions (similar to covid) may help. For avoiding water borne infection, drinking cleaner water (with lower TDS) will help. Food should be easily digestible
- Avoid the medicines that can lower the immunity such as unnecessary antibiotics and corticosteroids.
- herbal immuno-boosters like chyawanprash or XXXXXXX drops may be used
- encourage walk and active routine for the patient

NSAIDs (pain killers and medicines used for fever) can affect kidney function so their use needs to be low/avoided in CKD. Paracetamol can be used in low dose of 325 mg only when fever is more than 102f.

Mam, my wife's Pulse rate is showing on Oximeter 111.normally I check, and it is always showing in between 100-111. plz suggest what can I do? bcoz I heard that normal Pulse rate should have to in between 60-100.And my wife's current age is 25+ .

Pulse can be increased due to many physiological causes like exercise, fever, blood pressure, medicines, thyroid issues etc. Please see if there is some cause behind. But before checking for cause, ask a health professional like a doctor or nurse to count the pulse for one minute. ECG can also see if there is some heart issue behind it. If health professional also confirms high pulse rate, then furthertests can be done for checking above issues.

Mam i had tested my father kidney test last 15 days ago, and the result was like creatinine -6. 59.Blood urea nitrogen-60 , urea-129. today I have tested another test of creatinine BUN, and urea and now the result is creatinine- little decreased 6.44 BUN -52 and urea-112. just want to know mam is there any hope of improving. my father medication is continuing as per nephrology physician. protein album is normal. sodium potassium chloride is normal as per report. urea is showing 8.6 Calcium is normal as per report. Hemoglobin is low 8.2 . plz suggest mam. what can i do

It seems that the kidney function has gotten stable at this level. There is a small decrease in all parameters of kidney function test, so function seems to have slightly improved (maynot be clinically significant yet).
You may assist him by providing required help and staying strong.
You can also support him nutritionally. Allow him whatever he wants to eat (except foods that can aggravate the issue).
Anti-oxidant support by giving him juice of radish leaves plus some honey 1 spoon twice a day for few days.
Triphala or coriander powder can also be added to his diet.

but my father is diabetes patient. insulin regular is going. how can i give him honey.? now sugar is control under insulin. fasting in between 130-135
