Is There Any Treatment For Bradycardia?
Question: Is there any treatment for bradycardia? My pulse rate remains in the range of 50-60. I ma 58 m. I am hypertensive for which I take Bisoheart Am 5 daily.
Brief Answer:
Nothing required
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Heart rate of 50-60 is good and do not need any treatment unless you have any symptoms like giddiness or dizziness.
Actually you are taking the medicine Bisoheart AM which contains bisoprolol which is a beta blocker and in addition to controlling BP it also slows the heart rate and that is why your heart rate is on the lower side.
So nothing to worry as we prefer to keep heart rate on lower side to decrease the metabolism of heart and thus keep it healthy for a longer time.
Thanks and take care
