Hi,

Thanks for contacting the Ayurveda section and after reviewing your case history and answer by another eminent Physician along with the attached reports, I'm of the following opinion:

1. de quervian disease/syndrome/tenosynovitis is sometimes also associated with other diseased/pathological conditions like diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and hypothyroidism [so please check with necessary Examination and Investigations to rule out the same], till then certain lifestyle changes which one can incorporate in ADL [activities of daily living] are:

. Avoid repetitive motions: constant gripping, forceful bending of the wrist, engaging in lifting or pinching activities without sufficient rest periods or stretches.

. Avoid or limit the activity that aggravates the pain. [ place the affected wrist in a removable splint to immobilize the thumb and prevent further irritation and inflammation.]

. Applying ice to the styloid process may decrease inflammation and symptoms.

. when symptoms start to improve, add gentle stretching exercises (Myofascial release techniques) to prevent recurrent inflammation.

. If you are opting for Ayurveda treatment [pathology is because of vitiated Vata dosha], YES I do have result oriented [self-made] herbal preparation which relieves pain and relaxes swollen joints/tendons to promote smoother functions/movement along with certain Yoga postures/Mudra

iii. Erand pak or rason sura.

Medicated gel from small and large joints pain, eases muscular pain, reduced frozen shoulder/tendonitis pain: 260/- for 50 gm

PS. Your treatment and management will be initiated on the combined basis of ‘vishvachi’, ‘avbahuk’, and Vatarakta.

3. For myofascial release techniques kindly google search the same or contact a Physical therapist for the same. [ simple and effective], for example, ‘gomukhasana’ ‘garudasanna’, Namaskarasana’, ‘Pran Mudra’ are ancient myofascial techniques.
