Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for the query,

Your risk for HIV exposure is negligible at best. There was no high risk exposure involving your care for this patient.

It is even less likely that transmission would occur from a patient with HIV who is on active therapy.

I am confident you had no exposure of concern.

For peace of mind you could get a confirmatory HIV test if it will set your mind at ease.

Thanks again for sending the query,

Sincerely,

Detailed Answer:
Touching skin does not typically spread HIV.

There is no way to guarantee that you had zero exposure so for this reason you should go get tested.

Detailed Answer:
Touching is considered low risk for HIV transmission.

Again if you are asking for a guarantee that you had zero exposure we simply cannot provide that so for this reason you should get testing done.
