I did have some pain during urination for a few days, burning sensations on left side labia area.... that’s why I was concerned. There are no blisters that look like typical herpes lesions or ulcers. I have seen people say that sometimes herpes presents differently so I wanted an opinion from someone other than myself. I had blood tests done recently where I requested HSV 1 & 2 antibody testing, my doctor messaged me and said everything was negative but I do not have access to actual levels of antibodies
Brief Answer:
It is unlikely to be HSV
Detailed Answer:
Hi again dear,
If the HSV antibody testing is negative it is very unlikely to be herpes.
I suggest to do a urinalysis and a vaginal swab for further evaluation.
Meanwhile,I suggest to drink a lot of liquids.
In case that you feel symptoms such as burning while urinating, I suggest to use anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
