for miscarriage concern at 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant?
for miscarriage concern at 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant?
Brief Answer:
Spotting, doesn't seem much like miscarriage.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I see the picture of the tissue you attached and it is only a bit of spotting.
Sometimes spotting may happen during early pregnancy and it is not a cause of concern.
If it is only this small amount of bleeding, spotting, not accompanied by abdominal and back pain is nothing to worry about miscarriage.
If the amount of bleeding increases and the abdominal and back pain starts you should go imediately to doctor.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Went to see my obgyn’s physician assistant who mentioned my HCG going up from 25,083 on Friday 12/18/2020 to 38,003 on Monday 12/21/20 isn’t normal and that an ultrasound would have to determine in a week if my pregnancy is viable. What are my chances of miscarriage?
Brief Answer:
See in a week how it will progress.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
The ultrasound seems normal and both fetal pole and yolk sac are present.
The BHCG levels are increasing very slowly and a higher increase is expected.
Doing another ultrasound and BHCG next week will determine the course of pregnancy.
It is too early to evaluate miscarriage chances.
