Is This Related To The Eustachian Problem?

Question: I have been having a popping sound in my left ear for about three weeks. Both my GP and audiologist said it sounds like it ETD and to take nasal saline solution and see if that helps. I did, and and it was no help. I bought a product called Eustachi, used it last night and I did feel both the tubes on both open. But I still have the popping. I only tried the product once, should I try it a few more times? Also, I had tinnitus from 2006 to 2010, did a sound therapy and was in remission until New years Day 2021, and the T has been with me since. Is this related to the eustachian problem?

Detailed Answer:
Hii. Welcome to the healthcare services. Short duration popping sound is always due to eustachian tube dysfunction or patulous eustachian tube. The tinnitus can be due to eustachian tube dysfunction or can be due to sensorineural hearing loss. So you can get a hearing test done and see if you are having hearing loss or not. Give nasoclear drop or saline nasal spray solspre thrice daily. Take steam inhalation. The popping sound will slowly disappear. Chew bubble gum and do valsalva manoeuvre. Please review if you have any queries.
