Is Tiredness And Fever Symptoms Of Pregnancy?
On April 20, 2014 I took one Ipill after unprotected sex within 12 hours of sex. i experienced fatigue and tiredness during this time. I eventually got my periods which lasted for 3 days from 4th May to 6th May, 2014(my due date shouldve been 30th april or 1st may, so my period was 3-4 days late due to ipill). Early morning on 7th May I had unprotected sex again as it was in the safe window because this was just after my period had got over on the 6th and so I didnt take any emergency contraception pill this time. However, I am still feeling tired and fatigued. I feel feverish and sick. Now is this tiredness and feverish feeling because of a continued side efect of the ipill that i took on 20th april or is it some early sign of pregnancy because of the intercourse i had on 7th May just the next day after my period got over ? shouldnt the chances of pregnancy be ruled out since I had unprotected sex just the day after my period ended and also one cant really start to feel pregnancy symptoms just the next day after sex isnt it? the side effects of ipill do last for even a month after taking the pill right? Or is it that this fatigue and tiredness should not be attributed to either pregnancy or ipill side effect? But I have been feeling tired and sick ever since I took the ipill on 20th April. Please help.
Not due to pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The symptoms that you are having are not due to pregnancy since you had your period and then had sex during the safe period. Also the pregnancy symptoms do not appear till at least 10 days after conception.
The side effects of I-pill are not likely to persist after 20 days.
The symptoms you have are more likely to be due to anxiety or mental stress or a generalized viral infection. You can relax and have a healthy diet and take an anti emetic to have a better feeling.

Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The side effects of I-pill like you are having do not persist for more than a week after a single dose. So this is not due to I-pill.
