Is Train Travel Safe During 5th Month Of Pregnancy While Having Subchorionic Hemorrhage?
Question: Hi, My wife is 5 month old pregnant. 5th month is running. Her ultrasound shows minimal subchroniac hemorrhage otherthan this everything is normal. She conceived with the help of medications. Now we need to travel by train. The train journey is nearly 16 hours (AC travel) so we are bit worried and scared. Hello Doctor,
Thanks for your reply. Please find attached NT scan report which was taken in Nov, 2015. Just to give more details, this is our second child and currently due to unavoidable situation we have to travel. So far there is no health issue otherthan she have some allergic cough everything is normal. Please advise.

Brief Answer:
Precautions advised
Detailed Answer:
I personally don't recommend travel in case of bleeding or subchorionic hemorrhage but if it is important then train is the safest mode of transport.
But always carry her full file of investigations and prescription so that in case needed then medical advise is well customized.
I have seen the attached reports and there is nothing abnormal except a hematoma which will resolve by itself in 2-3 weeks.
All the best.

Hello Doctor,
Thank you for your reply. We are starting today evening. So do you see that this hematoma is small in size and will not impact by travel and will go by itself? We are scared but still cannot avoid travel so just praying god everything should be ok.

Brief Answer:
Simple precautions advised
Detailed Answer:
Yes dear, everything will be fine and just try that she takes it steadily and avoid jumping etc as you must be knowing already.
Also she should stay on lower XXXXXXX and rest as much as possible during travel.
Since it is second AC tickets so nothing to worry from crowding part.
All the best and have a safe journey
