Is Travelling Safe While Planning For Pregnancy?

Question: Hi Doctor

My treating doctor has suggested to start planning for pregnancy and she asked me to start siphene as well. My period started on 12th October 2015.
I have to travel urgently in the month of February. Please suggest is it safe to plan right now or we should postpone it after that.

Better to plan pregnancy after tour

Hi XXXXXXX I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
If the traveling is unavoidable, then it is better to plan pregnancy after your tour.
This is because if you conceive in coming months, then you will be maximum 4 months pregnant, which is around16 weeks.
Traveling should generally be avoided in early pregnancy, especially till 14-16 weeks of pregnancy.
I will therefore suggest you to plan pregnancy after your tour.

Hi Doctor

Travel is plan for mid of February i.e. 13th Feb to 25th Feb. Please suggest if it happens then we should avoid travelling by flight also.
