Is Visible Vein On Neck A Cause For Concern?

Question: i suffer from healthanxiety & lately notice a vein on my right side if my neck they i can see is this normal? I have my self all panicstricken

Which medicine you are using for anxiety?
Do you have any other problem like diabetes IR hypertension?
Honestly speaking I didn't notice any engorged vein in photograph. It would be better if you send me another with vein being marked.
Normally if there are engorged veins on both sides of neck with bulging eyes and shortness of breath , in that case one should go to ER.
If it is on one side and no other complaints then you should not worry.
Do send me another photograph.
Is there any other vein visible in your body?
Is there any surgery performed on you?

No recent surgeries. I take ativan when i have a psnic attack i have been waiting to get into a psychiatrist at the XXXXXXX clinic to help with the anxiety i go next month thank uou for your response. No other veins or symptoms

In my opinion, if you are not having any symptoms, then you should not be worried. Continue with your psychiatrist workup..
