Is Weakness In Face Muscles A Sign Of Facial Palsy?
Possibility of facial palsy ? Bell's palsy. Get investigated
Detailed Answer:
Hello Deaucemobb-66,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Unilateral facial weakness with facial deviation to opposite side, weakness or inability to close eye on affected side, drooling of saliva and difficulty to speak may be manifestation of peripheral cranial nerve (facial nerve) involvement in presence of normal brain imaging. Here the most common cause is Bell's palsy.
I am not sure if you have these symptoms too.
Is there any facial deviation, lesions over ear, earache,?
Any headache, vomiting , fever, limb weakness, loss of consciousness, seizures, double vision?
You can upload images , reports and prescriptions for discussion and advice if you were seen by a doctor earlier.
