In general, anti depressants are known to increase weight specially Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI's).

However, trials have shown that Viibryd does not cause weight gain.

But in clinical practice it has been seen that a few patients suffer from weight gain on taking Viibryd.

But, there are many factors that contribute to weight gain and we mostly implicate it to the medicine we are taking.

So, you have to see your self that how has been your diet and life style since you are taking the medication.

If we talk about clinical data available, and resources, then Viibryd doesn't cause weight gain.
