Question: It feels like there’s a piece of tape stuck to my little two toes, I’m wondering why. I do walk primarily in flip flops, but I’ve never had any pain

It's possible that there is an infection of the skin between the toes.

I suggest you get it looked at by your GP to rule out fungal infection which could arise due to previous injury of the skin.
