Itch After Eating,knee Pain.Sugar Problem?
Question: hi! i.m 59 years old. and i noticed affter a eat,i get like an itch all over, do you think i could be sugar problems. i eat lots of carbs,i.m addict to it,.
i had lots of knee pains and it hurts when a standup affter been sitting for a long period.sometimes they feel like if they are out of the socketand snap back.

The most common cause of itching immediately after food is due to allergy which can be due to any specific food item you have been taking or even a generalized one.Though Diabetes is common at your age especially if there is family history but the only itching symptom cannot indicate towards it and you need to get your Blood Sugars checked to rule it out.
Regarding the knee pain it can be due to various reasons as Arthritis,being overweight,lack of physical activity etc.In women after menopause due to decreasing hormones knee pain can worsen at times.
Some suggestions for you:
Observe if you have made any changes in the diet and try to eliminate that food item.
Restrict smoking and alcohol.
Go for a walk daily for half an hour.
Soak a tsp of fenugreek seeds in a glass of water and after getting up in the morning take these seeds.It helps in joint pain.
Take lots of carrot juice,banana,garlic roasted with butter.It strengthens joints.
Massage the joints with olive oil and then perform hot fomentation of the joint.
