Ive Always Had Tummy Pain And Hemmoroid But Today I
May be due to increased persistalysis of intestine.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The color of the stool in clinical diagnosis as such has no clinical significance. All shades from dark brown to yellow are good. The color of stool is imparted by a pigment called bile secreted by liver.Bile is broken down into stercobilinogen and urobilinogen.Stercobilinogen gives yellow color to stool. However in case the rate of persistalysis of intestine increases bile is not broken down properly hence giving green color to stools(bile is green).
I would suggest you to take an antispasmodic like dicyclomine 10 mg twice daily for 3 days. The color of stools would be normal again.
Get a stool test done to check for occult blood.
Hope i was helpful.
Regards!
Need few more details.

Hello again,
Would need few mpre details before answering your query.
1)Whats your age?
2)Have you ever had a colonoscopy done? It is recommended that all people who are having chronic intestine related symptoms should have a colonoscopy every 5-10 years. Even if you have had this test in the last 5 years it might be recommended to repeat it.
3)Internal or External hemorrhoids?
4)Medications you are taking?
5)Was a stool test ever done?
6) Do you suffer from constipation, gas or acid peptic problem?

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
If stool tests and colonoscopy were normal.
Grey or any other shade of stool for a day or two has no significance as such.
Keep a watch on the color for next 3 days.
In case if the you get a grey stool again get a stool test done.
I don't think you need to worry too much about it right now,
For hemorrhoids you can go for rubber band plication.
Thanks.
go for test stool for occult blood
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
There are a few things to consider when a person says he has blood/red color in the stool.
The first thing is if it is really blood. In fact prune juice can give red color to the stool. Unless it bright red blood (which is clear that it is blood). A stool for occult blood test or a stool microscopy that will confirm the presence of blood with the stools.
A CBC would be a good test to be done if you suspect bleeding to see if you are developing anaemia as a complication of bleeding and need treatment for it or not.
So to conclude:
1. we need to be sure you are bleeding or not- a stool test like faecal occult blood test and or stool microscopy for blood will help in this.
2. if it is confirmed go for rubber band plication of bleeding hemorrhoids.
Regards!
